🔥 Burning Safety (Safety First)
Never leave burning candles unattended: Never leave a lit candle unattended. Always extinguish all candles before leaving the room or going to sleep.

Keep away from children and pets: Place burning candles out of reach of children and pets.

Place on a suitable heat-resistant surface: Position candles on a sturdy, heat-resistant flat surface, away from edges, and avoid placing them on furniture such as televisions or bookshelves.

Keep away from flammable materials: Ensure candles maintain a minimum safe distance of 10 centimetres (4 inches) from any flammable items, including curtains, bedding, paper, wood, etc.

Ensure adequate ventilation: Burn candles in well-ventilated areas, avoiding placement near draughts (such as air vents, fans, or open windows) to prevent flickering flames or accelerated uneven burning.

Extinguish with care: Use a candle snuffer or wick trimmer to extinguish the flame, or employ a candle dome. Never blow out candles, as this may cause wax splatter or produce smoke.

✨ For the Best Burn
The Initial Burn is Crucial: When lighting the candle for the first time, ensure it burns for at least 1-2 hours, or until a layer of melted wax covers the entire surface. This prevents ‘tunnelling’ (where only the centre burns) and extends the candle's lifespan.

Trim the Wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to approximately 0.6 cm (1/4 inch) in length. An excessively long wick produces an overly tall flame, black smoke, and accelerates consumption.

Burn Time: It is recommended not to burn for more than 4 hours at a time. After this duration, extinguish the candle and allow it to cool for at least 2 hours before relighting.

Discontinuing Use: Cease burning when approximately 0.5 cm (1/2 inch) of wax remains to prevent the glass container from cracking due to overheating.

Cleaning the Container: After burning, the candle holder will be hot. Allow it to cool completely before moving or cleaning.

🧴 Mould Usage and Maintenance (For Candle Moulds)
Cleaning and Drying: Before use, ensure moulds are thoroughly cleaned and dried to prevent mould release issues.

Heat Resistance: Whilst our silicone moulds withstand high temperatures, never place them directly over open flames or electric stoves. Use a double boiler method to melt wax.

Demoulding Technique: Once the candle has fully cooled and set, gently bend or stretch the mould to release the candle easily. Never attempt to remove the candle while it is still warm.

Cleaning: After use, wash the mould with warm water and mild soap. Allow it to air dry thoroughly before storing.

⚠️ Important Reminder
Should you observe an excessively high flame, frequent flickering, or black smoke emission, extinguish the candle immediately. Allow it to cool, inspect and trim the wick before relighting.
